Hi all! :)

Not a lot of time lately going into fractals although I hope to get some new fractal works up soon.

I thought I would show one of the recent projects I worked on so you guys don't think I dropped off the planet.

This is a digital painting collaboration with my wife Catska. The poster is for the Oregon Country Fair 2009. A very awesome festival near Eugene.

To look life in the face, always, to look life in the face and to know it for what it is.
At last to know it, to love it for what it is, and then, to put it away.
Always the years between us, always the years.
Always the love.
Always the hours.

This is wonderful! Is it being sold anywhere? I would really like to have a full sized copy of this to frame. I love poster art -- especially very well done poster art.

Congratulations to both you and your wife for creating a beautiful image, redolent of antique images.

I hate to ask you to go out of your way for me. If you had a phone number or address for the organizers, I might be able to get one that way and I wouldn't feel TOO guilty about that. Thank you for offering! I hope that it becomes highly collectible> :-)

Go to the Oregon Country Fair web site, Google it and it should come up right away.
I am not sure if they have started offering these for sale yet on the web site but I know eventually they probably will. The printed poster came out a touch darker than what you may see on your screen.
Thanks very much! :)

I gave them a call yesterday and talked to Robin, who told me where to send a check. I'm excited! She also explained to me about the contest that you won. Congratulations!

Thanks so much! And, even though it's a tad darker, I don't think that that will affect the poster's overall appearance. I've noticed that that also happens to fractals. Any digital art seems to react the same way. I'm sure that I'll be pleased.

Good luck next year! :-)
